We strive to give back as much as we take

At Digital Express the concept of giving back is part of the company DNA. Our community involvement is not done out of obligation, but rather due to a strong desire to build community, strengthen partners and foster relationships. We strive to show the community that we have a reciprocity mind set as we try to give back as much as we take.

Our community involvement is not governed by a structured set of guidelines, but by aligning with causes that benefit our partners, relationships and community. At Digital Express we don’t believe in making direct financial contributions, but prefer playing to our strengths through providing our various branding solutions.

In staying true to the Digital Express ethos of “Bringing Brands to Life”, our current community involvement is mainly event-
based. We have established ourselves as experts when it comes to printing and branding solutions and believe our biggest impact is when we share these skills with those who need it most.

Who we have helped

Maxim Kids

The organisation aims to provide under privileged kids from across South Africa, and Africa, with a safe environment in which they can be uplifted and kept off the streets. They provide a structured system through primarily boxing, but also incorporate other suitable sports to keep the kids engagedand motivated.

African Grassroot Hoops

The organisation brings basketball to the underprivileged areas of Cape Town and surrounding areas by building and or revamping public basketball courts. The mission is to use basketball courts as a safe place to roll out a sustainability system, which aims at creating a platform used to develop life skills for the youth on a path to productive adulthoods.

This organisation is an annual Mandela Day initiative founded by Machete Creative with the aim of taking sustainable Action Against Poverty. The initiative empowers start-up businesses and aspirant entrepreneurs with the basics of branding and a digital presence.
