Marketing: This is the act of getting your business/product out there – “Here is what we offer and why you should buy it”.
Branding: This is the act of sharing what your brand stands for – “This is who we are and what we represent”.
Marketing is more practical and logical, whereas branding is strategic and psychological. Your marketing plan puts your business in the public eye where people see it, realize they need it, and then buy it. Your branding, however, will be what makes those customers use your brand over and over again.
